A Quack-tastic Adventure: The Journey of Four Duck Eggs at Willows
Imagine a secret world within our preschool room. Tucked away in a cozy corner, a nest of four duck eggs awaited a remarkable transformation.
Colliers Wood Nursery was the second Willows setting to be created, following on from all that was good in Wimbledon Nursery. We remain a family-run business and our aim is to provide a caring, happy and stimulating environment in which your child can thrive. Our Colliers Wood Nursery is in the beautiful grounds of Colliers Wood recreation ground – an oasis of calm just a stone’s throw from the tube station.
We are proud to be able to offer the same high standards of care and education in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our nursery is situated in a purpose-built building, which has been designed specifically for early years provision. We have a large outdoor play area, which is stimulating and safe for our children to explore.
At Willows, we understand that parents entrust us with their most precious possessions-their children. We take this responsibility very seriously, and we are continually striving to provide the best possible care for our young charges. Parents tell us that they value our minibus trips to places such as science museums, farms and parks, as these outings provide a valuable opportunity for learning and discovery.
They also appreciate the high level of qualifications held by our staff, as this ensures that their children are receiving the best possible care and instruction. Finally, parents value our recognised commitment to early years nutrition, as this helps to ensure that their children are getting the healthy start they need to thrive. We are proud to be able to offer all of these things to the families in our care, and we will continue to work hard to meet and exceed their expectations.
Immerse your child in a stimulating, nature-inspired environment that fosters curiosity and exploration through play-based activities and natural materials.
Our innovative curriculum adapts to the latest research, ensuring your child is prepared for anything.
Since 2009, we’ve helped countless children get the best start, with many seamlessly transitioning into top local schools.
Our unique approach has yielded exceptional results, with Willows children consistently achieving success in entrance exams for prestigious local schools.
We celebrate each child’s unique potential and provide personalized attention to support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
We take pride in being one of only two settings in London awarded the SPECIALIST Certification for exceptional early years meals.
Nestled in the little oasis of the Recreation Ground, Willows Colliers Wood is just a short walk to the Northern line tube station, ensuring an easy commute into Central London and plenty of transport links to the neighbouring areas, providing easy access for parents. Designed with the child in mind, the setting is beautiful, with two rooms ensuring free flow access, a strong focus on natural materials, and plenty of green space for the children to learn, play and explore.
