Willows Pre-School - Hammersmith Nursery

I cant’t recommend Willows, Hammersmith enough! By far the best nursery in Hammersmith / Chiswick from my experience and research. My 18 month old daughter has thrived there from day one due to the nourishing, fun environment that they provide. The level of care from staff is exceptional and is evident in my daughter’s rapport with them all.

They provide wonderful daily updates and photos of what your child has done that day, which is a joy to read and shows how much energy they put into providing a such a rich array of activities each day. From puppet shows, painting, outdoor activities, reading, music sessions to name a few. There is also constant communication between staff and parent, which gives you the reassurance you need that your child’s development and happiness is at the forefront of everything they do.

A quick note to say, as I have told you in person a few times already, how fresh and fun the new equipment is in the garden/soft play outdoor area!!Thank you for enhancing the options for the kids by adding new things to adventure and play on. Also the rolling gate – so much better and allows for more space for all the kids to play.

It’s great to see the addition of new equipment in the outdoor area! Amelia showed me the new “kitched” and the seesaw with great enthusiasm. The toys look like they will be good for all the age groups, Ella also immediately took an interest when she saw them at pick-up. In addition, i think the new pieces look nice and i like the fact that they are made out of wood… they really elevate the space. Glade to see the improvements and thanks to you and the entire team for your hard work.

Quick note from to say the outdoor area is looking superb at the Hammersmith Pre-School. The lovely natural equipment is very much enjoyed by Lilla and appreciated by us. It looks great! I would equally like to express my gratitude to Joanna who clearly organised and tidied the entire outdoor and indoor areas. It all looks fabulous! Doing it all in such a limited period of time must have been a tremendous effort on her part and is very impressive. I have never seen this pre-school looking so good and Lilla is our 3rd child attending it so we’ve been seeing if for over 6 years now. Joanna has also been meticulous in other areas of her work like sharing details from Lilla’s day at pick up along with her artwork. Many thanks to Joanna and her team especially Danlyn, Ticia and Valerie – Lilla has a very strong bond with them and we like them very much.

Dear Hammersmith. Thanks to you and the staff (teachers, cleaners and kitchen workers) for their hard work and dedication with our kids. Rafael loves nursery and he has blossomed into this confident and smart little boy. We are very excited to see what comes next in the future.

Hi Joanna, I thought I would drop you a line to say how impressed I am with Willows Preschool. I looked at a number of local nurseries, but your explanation of how children’s brains develop and the Willowsway convinced me. It was the best decision I have made for ????? future.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to express how happy we are with the care that the Willows team is showing every day in nurturing our Arianna. 

She’s been at Willows for only a month, but as a parent, big little things are already evident. Valerie, Debora, Didi, the whole staff are lovely humans who genuinely care about our baby. 

Valerie has been absolutely fantastic in welcoming her, loving her, and making the transition to full time nursery a breeze. We leave Arianna in the morning with a light heart, and when we come pick her up we are greeted by her smiles.

Our daughter has had the best 2 years at Willows Hammersmith and we will have the fondest of memories from her time there. The staff have been tremendous throughout and there is a great atmosphere around the nursery. Blenda and her team do a fantastic job and we wish them all the very best for the future, thank you!

Our son has been attending Willow’s since September 2023 when he was 17 months old. It’s hard to feel the confidence of leaving your baby in nursery for the first time, but since my first visit to Willows I felt reassured of the environment and care shown by the staff to every kid.

Thankfully, I haven’t regretted one day choosing Willow’s, the variety of activities focused on their development at each stage is exceptional. Our son loves his teachers, the friends he’s making, the food he eats, the music sessions and we appreciate the daily updates and continuous communication from teachers and principle. All in all the best decision we made!

We are so happy that we were recommended this wonderful nursery. Our daughter has settled in really well with the loving kind and now familiar staff. The staff members clearly get along and have fun which is reflected in the warm and friendly atmosphere whenever we drop off/pick up. The children are highly engaged in a huge range of activities from the moment they arrive, just perfect to keep them distracted, happy and growing even in the very early years. Communication with parents is very good and the food is amazing – far better than she would get at home! Thank you to everyone at Willows for all your hard work day after day!

The best nursery in Hammersmith / Chiswick! Our daughter loves attending Willows with her little friends and the brilliant staff who make every day a joy for the children. The nursery has great communication with parents, regular coffee mornings etc and the environment is safe, warm and loving. They also have a fabulous outdoor area and go on lots of fun trips. Willows is a wonderful preschool and nursery! Our older daughter has been attending Willows for over two years and is now in their preschool room. Our younger daughter one will join soon in the baby room. The staff are very competent and friendly and I am very impressed by the range and quality of activities that they do with the kids. Our daughter’s language, creative and social skills are developing in leaps under the guidance of her preschool teachers and she often tells us how happy she is to attend Willows!

Our son greatly enjoys going to Willows. They provide a safe, fun, healthy child-orientated environment that inspire him to become more confident and self-aware, try and learn new things, and make great friends. They also make the parents feel very involved with updates, pictures, activities and events which allow me to feel very comfortable and confident to leave him there. Our daughter has enjoyed being a part of Willows from day one. She is engaged, surrounded by loving and warm staff and making close friends. We have seen her grow in leaps and bounds over the last 14 months and know that she is happy every day. What an absolute extra treat to have a mini bus as a resource for the school to explore the surrounding areas and venture further afield to enhance their knowledge for the subjects that they learn. Delighted to have found such a wonderful nursery for our daughter.

Willows is a fantastic nursery. Located in a former Victorian school, it’s smaller setting than a lot of others in the area, helping with the important partnership between parents and teachers. Very well run, great communication and imaginative variety of activities.

Willows Hammersmith is a wonderful preschool. We relocated from the US in Jan’22 and were unsure how our son would adjust to a new environment and that too for an extended period of time that he needed to stay at the school. The care and love that he received from his teachers at Willows, made him immediately fall in love with the school. We were very pleased with the learning curriculum of the school, the interactive ways in which the learning was imparted and the trips organized to enhance kids’ exposure. Our son absolutely loved his teachers and so did we. Cheers to the team and the management for maintaining such a personal connection with each and every kid at Willows!

A very well run ship where my child not only seems to develop wonderfully but is also cared for in a loving and safe environment by the excellent staff. We could not be happier with the service provided.
